HAB IT YOUR WAY!
Thanks to the Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames each winning 7 of their last 10 games, the gap at first place over second has widened. Randy Mulder now leads Bill Brouwer by 18. As of March 20th the standings are as follows:
Randy Mulder 240
Bill Brouwer 222
Brian Boekestyn 220
Marc Radsma 206
Tyler Meijaard 194
Josh Moes 178
Steve Moes 170
Brad Boekestyn 170
Ron Mulder 158
Sean VanOostveen 146
Sean better have a good summer, with strong playoff points from NHL and NBA or he is done like dinner. Oh well, his nuptials are soon, and sports will be very low on his priority list. Full update next time!

WHO DAT? Well... they did it! The New Orleans Saints kept their poise after a rough first quarter, ending up with a great fourth quarter, starting a huge party in the French Quarter. Their victory in the Super Bowl kept Bill Brouwer from practically sweeping the NFL playoff bonus points, and vaulted yours truly, Randy Mulder, into a shaky perch atop the overall standings. I say shaky because my NBA and NHL teams have failed to excite me with their (lack of) production. There is lots of time left for many of the franchises in the USD 2010 to either claw closer to the top, or overtake the leaders. The Saints beating the Colts will keep this pool competitive for quite some time now, rather than having the Waterboy way out in front. Darryl has tabulated all the point totals as of noon on the 12th of February. Here they are, team by team, in order:

Apparently, Ronald McDonald was a "bad boy bad boy, what ya gonna do"

This pool could be a big dud if Minnesota plays Indianapolis in the Super Bowl, as Bill has both those teams. That would be a substantial lead William. Who invited him anyhow???

Anyhow... Standings as of January 18, 2010, according to the statistical work of one Darryl Mulder:

  1. Bill Brouwer 92 Pts 0 Pts Behind Leader
  2. Tyler Meijaard 86 Pts 6 PBL
  3. Brian Boekestyn 86 Pts 6 PBL
