
WHO DAT? Well... they did it! The New Orleans Saints kept their poise after a rough first quarter, ending up with a great fourth quarter, starting a huge party in the French Quarter. Their victory in the Super Bowl kept Bill Brouwer from practically sweeping the NFL playoff bonus points, and vaulted yours truly, Randy Mulder, into a shaky perch atop the overall standings. I say shaky because my NBA and NHL teams have failed to excite me with their (lack of) production. There is lots of time left for many of the franchises in the USD 2010 to either claw closer to the top, or overtake the leaders. The Saints beating the Colts will keep this pool competitive for quite some time now, rather than having the Waterboy way out in front.
